Meet Darryn
I’m running for the Los Angeles Community College Board because too many people in our city are working hard and still struggling to get ahead. In a Los Angeles that is increasingly unaffordable, community colleges are one of the clearest pathways to good jobs, economic mobility, and real opportunity. I want to help ensure our colleges serve students, support faculty and staff, and connect more people to the skills they need to build stable futures.

The Los Angeles Community College District is the largest community college district in the United States and one of the largest in the world.
At a time when new opportunity is coming to our region, our community colleges are the right-sized institution to connect students and workers to the skills, training, and pathways needed to succeed. From the western San Fernando Valley to the Eastside and down to the Harbor, LACCD serves the City of Los Angeles and many surrounding communities across roughly 40 cities and communities.
